Julie Vincent has been involved in market research since 1990 and is responsible for all aspects of research at Insight Plus. She has developed a number of innovative approaches for gathering and analysing data. She is considered a pioneer in community and stakeholder research in the education sector and her services have been used by eighty schools. One of her most significant pieces of research related to the market positioning of a national pizza company. Working with the University of Queensland Business School, she and Professor Geoffrey Kiel used a technique never applied in Australia previously. Insight Plus surveyed 800 customers in Australia and New Zealand and, through cluster analysis, identified the most appropriate and profitable market position.
